Teri Ann Hourihan is running for Governor of Arizona as an Independent-minded No Labels candidate focused on putting people before politics and solutions before party loyalty. Her campaign is centered on bringing Arizonans together, reforming government, strengthening healthcare and education, protecting Arizona’s future, and giving voters an alternative to the traditional red-versus-blue political divide.
Teri Ann chose to run as an Independent/No Labels candidate because she believes political division has prevented meaningful solutions and left too many Arizonans behind. She is committed to putting people before politics and leading with honesty, integrity, accountability, and common sense—not party agendas, special interests, or wealthy donors.
Teri Ann has pledged never to accept PAC or AIPAC donations because she believes elected officials should be accountable to the people they serve. As Governor, she will restore public trust by reforming state government, increasing transparency, and ensuring agencies operate efficiently and responsibly.
Her priorities include lowering the cost of living, protecting the rights of all people, expanding affordable childcare, protecting school choice while increasing accountability for education spending, securing Arizona's water future, reducing homelessness through shelter and support services, strengthening the family court system, supporting rural communities, improving legal immigration processes, and eliminating fraud, waste, and abuse in government.
Above all, Teri Ann believes leadership begins with listening. She is committed to being accessible, accountable, and responsive to every Arizonan while delivering practical, bipartisan solutions that unite communities, restore trust in government, and improve the quality of life for families across Arizona.
Brief Bio
Teri Ann earned her Ph.D. in 2018 and is a licensed trauma therapist, Arizona native, mother, and woman of faith dedicated to improving the quality of life for every Arizonan. She entered the governor's race after witnessing firsthand the healthcare challenges affecting providers and patients across Arizona. As she advocated for healthcare reform, she recognized similar struggles in affordability, education, public safety, and government accountability. Teri Ann is committed to delivering practical solutions, restoring trust in government, and ensuring every Arizona community has a voice in building a stronger future.
